Movement Disorders Clinic - Kingston Centre, Victoria, Australia

A recently trained or experienced Movement Disorders Specialist is required to assist in the service delivery of the Kingston Centre, Southern Health (Melbourne, Victoria) component of the Victorian Comprehensive Parkinson Program (VCPP). An interest in research in gait and balance in Movement Disorders would be considered favourably and a desire to develop a private practice component to the position would be promoted. We would encourage the incumbent to be actively involved in further developments of the VCPP and in the area of Movement Disorders.

The VCPP is an extensive program recognized by the National Parkinson Foundation (USA) as a Centre of Excellence in the delivery of care for people with Parkinson. The VCPP encompasses both public and private sectors in the management of Movement Disorders. It incorporates in patient and out patient services, a research unit, a comprehensive outreach service and functional neurosurgery.
