The Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists coordinates the recruitment of neurology registrars throughout Australia and New Zealand each year. Information and application is online. Information about the application process is available.

Successful completion of the RACP Part 1 exam is a pre-requisite for acceptance into the neurology training programme. Applicants from overseas who do not have the RACP Part 1 exam may apply through the national recruitment process, but are strongly advised to contact the Head of Department at hospitals they wish to apply for, as well as the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Applicants should indicate in their application that these contacts have been made.
