Hospital Information

Royal Perth Hospital is a 955 adult bed teaching hospital with approximately 70,000 admissions per year. It is associated with the University of Western Australia, and is one of three teaching hospitals in Western Australia.
The department has major sub-specialties commitments to epilepsy, clinical neurophysiology, movement disorders, stroke, neurological rehabilitation and neurogenetic.
Royal Perth Hospital is the state adult epilepsy centre, and the state centre for adult neurogenetic.
The department provides a comprehensive neurophysiology service which includes diagnostic studies, movement disorders programme and intra-operative neural monitoring for spinal surgery, and posterior fossa surgery. Royal Perth Hospital is the state centre for interventional-neuroradiology, scoliosis surgery and spinal care.
